ComplyOps is an AI-powered compliance assistant that helps manufacturers navigate product testing and certification. Our platform includes:

• An AI assistant that answers compliance-related questions
• A directory of 750+ accredited testing laboratories (FCC, ASCA, NRTL)
• Tools to create products, request quotes from labs, and compare options
• An email relay system for anonymous communication between you and testing labs

ComplyOps uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic) to help answer compliance questions. You should understand the following:

• AI can make mistakes. Responses may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or incomplete guidance. Always verify AI-generated information against official sources.
• Not professional advice. AI responses are not a substitute for professional compliance, legal, or engineering advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making decisions based on AI output.
• No guarantee of accuracy. We do not warrant that any AI-generated content is correct, complete, or current. You use AI features at your own risk.
• Regulatory requirements change. Standards, regulations, and certification requirements are updated frequently. The AI may not reflect the most recent changes.

Our testing lab directory is compiled from publicly available sources, including government databases (FCC, FDA, OSHA). While we work to keep this information accurate and up to date:

• Lab details (contact information, accreditation scope, capabilities) may not be current.
• A lab’s accreditation status may have changed since our last update.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party lab information.
• Always confirm a lab’s current accreditation and capabilities directly with the lab before engaging their services.

When you request a quote through ComplyOps:

• Your request is forwarded to the selected testing lab(s) via email.
• We use an email relay system to facilitate communication between you and labs while keeping your email address private until you choose to share it.
• We are not a party to any agreement between you and a testing lab. We act solely as a facilitator.
• We are not responsible for lab response times, quote accuracy, service quality, or any disputes between you and a lab.
• We may process and store relay emails to provide the service and for troubleshooting purposes.

To access certain features, you need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to ComplyOps, including product descriptions, questions, and documents. By using the platform, you grant us a limited license to process your content as necessary to provide our services (e.g., sending it to the AI model for analysis, including it in quote requests to labs).

We do not use your content to train AI models. Your product information and conversations are used solely to provide you with the ComplyOps service.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading information in quote requests
• Attempt to scrape, crawl, or bulk-download lab directory data
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform’s operation
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the AI assistant to generate content unrelated to product compliance

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ComplyOps and Vinovo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. This includes, without limitation, damages arising from:

• Reliance on AI-generated compliance guidance
• Inaccurate or outdated lab directory information
• Failed or delayed lab communications
• Any actions taken based on information obtained through ComplyOps

Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or if we determine, in our sole discretion, that your use of the platform is harmful to other users or to ComplyOps. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of ComplyOps after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
